Mendi works as the Outpatient Division Speech Pathology Program Director for Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation throughout north and central Texas and oversees the hiring, training, mentoring, program development and education of the outpatient programs. Mendi has worked for Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation her entire career in all aspects of the continuum: acute care, subacute, inpatient rehab, home health, Day Neuro program and outpatient rehabilitation. Mendi has received certification in McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program and VitalStim therapy as well as an internal certification for ReVital Cancer Rehab.
She has been appointed as an ASHA liaison as State Advocate for Medicare Policy, StAMP, for the state of Texas and serves on the TSHA Business Management Committee. She is a professional member of National Academies of Practice. She has lectured at the local, state, and national level on functional outcomes for the adult neurogenic population, business ethics, resilience, and billing, coding and documentation standards.
Mendi Lancaster is the Speech Program Coordinator for Baylor Scott and White Rehabilitation throughout Texas. She is certified in MDTP, VitalStim, SPEAK OUT! and ReVital Oncology Rehabilitation. She has been appointed as an ASHA StAMP, is a member of the TSHA Business Management Committee, and is a professional member of National Academies of Practice. She has lectured at the local, state and national level on outcomes, ethics, resilience, billing, coding, documentation, and professional issues.
